Introducing Water Tots program at the beach
Introducing the new Water Tots classes at the beach at Bare Hill Pond for the summer season.  These classes are designed to introduce the youngest of Bare Hill Pond beach goers to the water and to teach the basics for developing a comfort level and confidence in the water.  Visit the Swimming page for more info or click on 'Register Online' to sign up.

New Picnic Areas for 2012

Thanks to the excellent planning and hard work of Eagle-Scout-to-be Matthew Flokos, we will have two newly refurbished picnic areas to enjoy at the pond this summer.  The picnic tables have been repaired and repainted and two new charcoal grills were installed.  One of the picnic areas is now located close to the boat docks and includes a new bench dedicated to the memory of Bromfield student Jesse Peterson, for enjoying sunsets on the pond.

Tennis Coordinator wanted for Summer 2012

Harvard Parks and Recreation is looking for a volunteer to help coordinate our summer tennis program for kids.  You'll be helping to oversee our program, which runs for 6 weeks in the summer, by communicating with staff to arrange schedules, purchasing supplies and helping with registration.  If you're interested or know someone who might be, please contact Mark Mandozzi at 978-456-9770 or email at .
